Emergency First Aid at Work: Level 3

Our Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course gives you the confidence and practical skills to step in during a workplace emergency. It’s a Level 3 RQF qualification, Ofqual-regulated, and CPD Certified – plus, it offers 8 UCAS points to support your higher education application.

First Aid at Work: Level 3

Designed for higher-risk workplaces, this comprehensive three-day course gives learners the knowledge and confidence to handle a wide range of medical emergencies. Fully Ofqual-regulated, CPD Certified, and UCAS-accredited.

Any workplace where advanced first aid is required

Course Format:
Available as three days of classroom training or blended learning (1 day online + 2 days in person). A shorter requalification option is available after 3 years.

Assessment & Certification:
Learners are continuously assessed through questions and hands-on scenarios. Certification is valid for 3 years and includes 8 UCAS points.

What You’ll Learn:
In addition to basic first aid, this course covers fractures, spinal and chest injuries, burns, eye injuries, poisoning, anaphylaxis, and major illnesses such as heart attacks, strokes, asthma, and diabetes-related incidents.

Paediatric First Aid: Level 3

This course provides essential first aid skills for anyone working with children from birth to 18 years. It meets EYFS and Ofsted requirements and is CPD Certified and UCAS-recognised.

Course Format:
Two full days in the classroom, or one day of eLearning followed by one day in person.

Assessment & Certification:
Assessment is based on practical demonstrations and scenario-based activities. Certification is valid for 3 years. Requalification requires completion of the full course again.

What You’ll Learn:
This course covers emergency first aid for children and infants, including CPR, choking, shock, bleeding, burns, seizures, fractures, allergic reactions, meningitis, and more.

Emergency First Aid at Work: Forestry Edition

Specifically designed for forestry and agriculture, this course includes core emergency first aid alongside additional content covering chainsaw injuries, hypothermia, crush injuries, and Lyme disease. It meets HSE and Forestry Commission standards.

Course Format:
Delivered as a full-day classroom session or through blended learning (2 hours online + 4 hours in person).

Assessment & Certification:
Learners are assessed through practical demonstrations and oral questioning. Certification is valid for 3 years and is CPD Certified.

What You’ll Learn:
Alongside general first aid topics, this course includes tourniquets, haemostatic dressings, outdoor injury scenarios, and how to manage forestry-specific emergencies.
